A little about our chef:

Mark has always enjoyed cooking from a young age from preparing vegetables with his mum for the family meal to baking cakes at the age of seven.  Mark was lucky enough to be classically trained by a Michelin starred chef who worked alongside "Michel Roux Jr". Mark helped out at the Chimney house in Hartington before starting his own successful kitchen franchise, while running that he was head hunted for positions st Stamner house & The Amex Stadium.

Mark has joined us at The Bell so he can be in a more family orientated location & enjoy spending more time with his children, Mark is a very social chef & enjoys speaking to customers about food & taking all input & using it to further his dishes, he describes his food as “Modern with a classic twist” & he strives to create traditional English dishes off the top of his head using seasonal produce.
Mark describes The Bell as a genuinely friendly, relaxed hidden pub which compliments his style of food perfectly.
